What you relate of Andrea’s plight makes my stomach curl.
As we know from centuries of existence, the pack mentality is hugely beneficial when it’s propelled by uncontaminated fuel (what I call POPP’ing - promoting other people’s potential).
However, perhaps inevitably, we do continue to see some appalling examples of packs operating in the opposite domain, which has no doubt been the case since we first populated this planet (this I call PAPP’ing - proving a personal point).
It does take people like Andrea and Karlene to stand up and refuse to play small and force a break in the cycle.
It is also worth pointing out that they (and you) are representing a better human perspective, regardless of gender, race, background etc. .We have to be very wise to the subconscious bias of labelling ourselves too much, otherwise we will forever be pitched against each other in endless war of oppressor v victim.
I hope that we can all be inspired by the prophets who stand up to immense pressure from packs of very troubled humans.
I intend to keep the forward momentum up with my angle of encouraging emotional and social wisdom, regardless of our physical manifestation.
